For years, Ajinomoto Vietnam has been cooperating with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Association (HCMC WA) to carry out many interesting activities for HCMC WA’s members as well as to support and share the difficulties with disadvantaged members through the development of many meaningful programs.

Collaborating with HCMC WA to improve nutritional knowledge and family fomality skills

Every month, Ajinomoto Vietnam collaborates with HCMC WA to organize a Plant Tour in Long Thanh Factory. Since 2004, Ajinomoto has welcomed hundreds of WA’s members to visit its factory. There, WA’s members have the opportunity to observe the production of Meat and Bone Extract with modern production lines ensuring food safety and hygiene to understand more about the process that helps make characteristic differences of Aji-ngon. In addition, the program also provides useful nutritional information as well as delicious recipes through the exchange with Ajinomoto’s chefs.

For young people at the age of marriage in the city, Pre-marriage knowledge training classes are also organized to help young men and women enhance their family life building knowledge and skills. Essential information and skills in health care, conflict resolution and household expense management are also provided to trainees in order to help those that are going to get married as well as young spouses be more ready for family life, contributing to building sustainable happiness.

Particularly, the Cooking contests on Vietnamese Family Day, Vietnamese Women's Day or International Women's Day always attracts the attention and participation of a great number of women and young families that love cooking.

In addition, the activity of Giving Tet gifts for the poor that are officers, members, poor women, disabled women, female migrant workers, etc. also takes place every year on Lunar New Year in order to help women who do not have financial condition to go home to be able to reunite with their family members in the traditional New Year Day.

Cooperating with Ho Chi Minh City Women Newspaper and Ho Chi Minh City Women's Cultural House to help members with difficulties

Over the years, Ajinomoto has also joined hands with Ho Chi Minh City Women Newspaper to offer Scholarships to disadvantaged schoolgirls who overcome difficulties to achieve good study results.
Moreover, under the cooperation between Ajinomoto Vietnam and Women's Cultural House, the Food program of “Cooking with Ajinomoto” that takes place every month receives enthusiastic participation and support of learners studying at the Women's Cultural House. The Company also provides learners with instructions on how to effectively use the company's spices to make delicious meals every day. Thus, helping them improve their domestic skills, enrich the menu bank and bring their family members tasty meals that ensure the nutrition requirements. 

Every year, Ajinomoto Vietnam also carried out the activity of Building charity houses for families in particularly difficult circumstances.

Ajinomoto's activities in collaboration with HCMC WA in recent years show the interest and contributions of the company in taking care of happiness for women in particular and building happiness for Vietnamese families in general.
